Update Saturday 25th July,

Only the one bet today was in Adelaide Silvercitymiss, average place price 1.66 won easy so a succesful bet.

24th July

Well there has not been a lot of good racing to chose from lately, with a lot of heavy tracks. Wednesday we had two bets, Two Hills, played up in the starting stalls, hurt herself and raced accordly, so an unsuccesful bet. Then we had Philda, average price was 1.90 won by 3 lenghts. So it was close to a break even day.

Thursday, not bets. Friday Ipswich was delayed all day which means the bots can not run on that meeting, as Betfair don't reschedule there software. We had one selection for that meeting that won, place price was 1.40 on Uni Tab, we would have wanted 1.50 still, thee are plenty more race days.

17th July

Tuesday, we had the one bet, Zedmatic, average price was 1.47 ran 3rd, struggled to get a clear run, would have won had it got clear, still 3rd pays us OK.

Wednesday, we uploaded Arbutus, only 8 accounts got the bets on the minimum of 1.30, unfortunately, his saddle slipped and had to be retired from the race, very unusal for this to happen in Australian racing.

Thursday and Friday, no bets, as lots of Heavy tracks here at present.

Fingers crossed for more action on Saturday.

Short and sweet today, only two meeting in Aussie, one was a Heavy 10 we don't bet on these tracks. The other had no bets that reached our standard, so a no Bet to day.

Hi,

Well we have been short on action and today was a disappointment, we all the racing, there was only one selection. However the track conditions changed for the worst so we did not upload it.

So there was no bet today,. There will be no Bet on Sunday as we don't bet Sunday.

8th July Results.

Hi,

Aussie Pro had one bet today, Dollops, jumped slow, and ran on to win the race. The price range was from 1.92 to 1.52 average price was 1.67. I notice we had 6 accounts that did not bet, now whether that was because the price dropped or you accounts have no funds in the Australian Wallet.

Our total is now minus 134.00 on £100 bets. Hopefully we will get more action soon. However it is winter here in Australia, so the class of animal is not as high this time of the year.

7th July Results

Well today is a good news bad news day.

Bad news is most of you did not get the bet today, it was a winning bet at an average price of 1.61.

Only 11 got the bet, this was due to a few things mainly the race was about 10 minutes later than Betfair offical time, Betfair don't ammend the official start time, the market was not formed where it would normally be then our software bets, and consquently the money was not there to take our bets.

So we will not record this win as a bet.

Sorry for today however these things will happen from time to time.

For the record, delayed races in Australia are not very common, not like the UK where they seem to make a habit out of it.

One bet for the Saturday, Vicadelsa ticked all the right boxes, however ran disappointly. So it was an unsuccessful bet for us. Current result is minus £201 on a £100 flat bets. Till later. Cheers Steve

3rd July Action.

Early Post today, as the meetings here in Oz are poor quality today, also several tracks rain affected. So we will have no bets today, we will keep our power dry for the Saturday action.

Summary to date Since the start: 4 bets, 2 winning bets. 50% strike rate.

On a 100 bet per selection we are minus 101.00 still early days.

2nd July Results

Only one selection today. Justifier at Wyong, the prices ranged from 1.79 high to a low of 1.40 with the average at 1.72. The horse ran second, was in a photo for 1st. The place pool was 11,154 and Justifier was 50% of the pool. We will record results at the average price. Some will obviously get more and some less.

If you did not get the bet email, so I can look into it, however most of the time it will be at the Betfair end. but I can check that the Bet master side is all correct.

Aussie Pro Service

I will try and keep this reasonable up to date, it is for members of the Aussie Pro Service.

1st Day 29th June, Monday No Bets.

2nd Day 30th June, Tuesday, one unplaced bet. Gathering Light @ around 1.40 and some unmatched bets, so not all got on this selection.

3rd Day 1st July, 09 Wednesday. Two bets, but they were at Armidale a small country meeting.

As these were reasonably competitive races handicaps, we uploaded our selections with a minimum price of 1.50, so that means we will not get our bets placed if the horse is under a 1.50, this is regardless of your setting at 1.30. The first horse was Nepalese the prices we got were a high of 2.04 a low of 1.84 and an average of 1.97. This horse was unplaced. A losing bet.

Our second and last bet was Dubai Direction, and we uploaded it at again 1.50 as it was a competitive race, and that was what we considered minimum value we would accept. The maximum price was 1.67 and the minimum was 0.00. Why? I have never in over 37 years of racing seen this. market suspended, 2nd favourite withdrawn, market re priced, we were then sitting on 1.47 for our horse, then 4 more horses were withdrawn. We ended up below our 1.30 theshold and way under or uploaded price of 1.50.

As a result of the market being suspended twice a lot of you did not get on this bet. It ran 3rd and was a winning result, however I hope we don't have this again.

We have seen that we make a dent in the markets on these small meetings, as both the horses we backed were over 90% of the place market. That is why we have the 50 member limit.

Also there is around 10 accounts not betting, I have sent you emails and would like to get you up and running. So if you have not set your account yet please do. And if your account is set up and you are still not getting bets, please check the list I sent you.
